... "Slamming the bucket against her head, he delivered series of kicks to her tummy before storming out of the house". Introducing Our New Series :Private Hell.

The gentle rain pelted silently against the window as Tamara stared absent mindedly into space. Her mind was made up already and it would only take something special to change it. For her, nothing was special anymore. A cold tear escaped the cages of her eye as she winced in discomfort from the body pain she was enduring.
"God damn it", she muttered, "I can't do this anymore."

She shook her head as she wiped the streams of tears forming around her cheek. She sniffed in the cold air that tried escaping her nostrils, feeling a sharp pain in her head, she laughed silently.
"Jeez, Tamara, you are really silly", she said to herself, laughing and trying in vain to hold back the tears that seem to have found a renewed energy to flow, "You deserve better than this." She choked
with tears.
"How did you get yourself into this for God sake? " she kept asking herself, not sure if to expect an answer, and when she realized that no answer was forth coming, she broke down in tears.
Suddenly, after a minute or two, she stopped crying. There's no point crying, she thought to herself. Her mind was made up, her bags were packed up, all she was just waiting for, was for the rain to hold up and she will take her leave. Nothing will convince her to stay, not even herself.

The rain gradually increased its intensity, forcing a weary smile on her lips,
"You are not going to stop me" she sounded to the rain, not minding if she looked insane.
She looked around and shook her head in dismay, everywhere was in shambles. She walked over to the sofa gently, as her body reeled from the pains she was experiencing, and carefully sunk into the chair.
"Nothing is keeping me here" she muttered to herself continuously, as her mind slowly wandered.

****************************
Tamara was engaged with the laundry when she heard a knock on the door.
"That must be Segun" she said aloud.
She stole a quick look at the wall clock as she made her way to unlock the door. It was 9:30pm.
"He is quite late today" she muttered as she unlocked the door and kept it ajar for him to gain entrance into the house.
"Welcome" she greeted.
"Yea, thanks dear."
"You are quite late today and you look very exhausted."
"Darling, you won't believe the kind of marathon meeting we had today. Very annoying."
"So sorry for that."
"Yea, thank you. All I want now is to just eat and then sleep."
"Okay dear. Your food is on the dinning table. Let me help carry your briefcase into the room and finish off the laundry. I will join you in a minute."
"Thank you. You are the best."
Tamara laughed as she walked into the room while Segun took his seat at the dinning table.
Tamara was almost done with the laundry when she heard Segun's phone ring out from his briefcase. She waited for him to come answer the call, but he didn't.

She waited.
