The Liver is a Large, meaty organ that sits at the side of the belly, weighing about 3pounds,the Liver is reddish - in colour and feels rubbery to the touch. Normally you can not feel the liver, because it's protected by the rib cage.
    The liver has two large sections called: The Right and Left Lobes. The livers main job is to filter the  blood from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. The liver also detoxifies chemicals and metabolises drugs.
           
                                    Signs Of Liver Disease  Most People Ignore 

It's easy to think that only alcoholics get liver disease. Whilst alcoholism is a common cause, livers aren't as durable as you people think, and can be damaged by diets, genetic conditions and many diseases such as: Hepatitis A, B and C.

Going  Yellow 
       When anyone spontaneously changes colour, it's always a cause of concern. Jaundice is a characteristic of liver disease, which causes  a yellowing of the skin and
eyes, due to an accumulation of pigments in the blood.

Nausea
         Everyone gets an upset stomach, from time to time. But if you are constantly hunched over the toilet, it must be something more serious.

Changes In Your  Urine And Faeces 
              So nobody likes to look at what you flush, bit it's the best way of keeping tabs on your health.

Fluid  Retention
            A common symptom of liver disease is the retention of fluid.,especially around the ankles, feet and legs, due to circulatory issues caused by poorly filtered blood. Whilst fluid retention is a symptom of other medical conditions, liver disease is one of the most common causes.

Fatigue
     Fatigue remains the most common symptom of liver disease, even if professionals can't entirely explain why.
     
                                        Tips On How  To  Keep Your Liver Healthy 


There is nothing tricky about keeping your liver in good shape. It's all about a healthy lifestyle, says Ray Chung,  MD, Medical Director Of The Liver Transplant Programme At Massachusetts General Hospital :
                 " Taking care of your liver  is far more about avoiding what's bad than it is about eating or drinking this that are particularly nourishing to the Liver", he says.

1) Don't drink a lot of alcohol. It can damage liver cells and lead to swelling or scarring that becomes cirrhosis, which can be deadly.

2) Eat a healthy diet and get regular exercise. Your Liver will thank you,you will keep your weight under control, wich helps prevent non alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), A condition that leads to cirrhosis.

3)  Watch out for certain medicines. Cholesterol drugs and pain killer acetaminophen (Tylenol)  can hurt your liver if you take much.

Note: some medicines can hurt your liver if you drink alcohol when you take them. And some are harmful when combined with other drugs. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about the safest way to take your medicine.
