DO IT NOW

Few days ago, a friend of mine came to me and said, “wow!, do you know that life is extremely short? See as time dey run dey go!” We laughed over it but then after my friend left what he said got me thinking really deep. Life is truly extremely short. The life span that has been gifted to man is limited and if not used wisely might even run by without the consciousness of the being. From the point of birth to the point of death, man is in a race consciously or
unconsciously and the most fulfilled man is he who discovers his purpose in life on time and starts to work towards it at a very early stage.
The man who becomes aware of the non-permanent nature of the life that we have been given and begins to make good use of the precious gift on time is the man who will have no regrets at the last phase of his life.
As infants, we were dependent on our wheels to the world but this should not last forever because life is in stages and as such man should move in accordance with the stages of life. There is a time to be dependent, a time to become the one that is being depended on and finally the time to be dependent again. No phase should be taken for granted or left out. The disadvantage of taking any stage for granted or trying to skip any phase is that it will cause a general alteration in the structure arrangement of existence since the beginning of time. If the phase of being the one that people will depend one is skipped thereby extending the early dependent stage; there will be a point when those that we are depending on will bow out of the race that is life.
The overly dependent man will not be able to give his wheel to the world a befitting passage ceremony and he will not be able to recover from the shock of being jolted to the reality of life and his late induction into the stage of doing things on his own; he might not even recover at all till the point that he will cowardly join his wheels to the world at the end of the line.
It is therefore important for man to go through life with the true nature of life in mind. Time waits for no man and whether we make good use of it or not, it will pass. So what will it profit a man to be in the world and not know the nature of the entity that he dwells in? Of what benefit will it be for a man to allow himself be taken on a roller-coaster ride by another driver? Why won’t he become aware of the fact that whatever we become in this world is our own doing and not the manipulation of a supreme being?
It is now time to regain consciousness from an almost non-existent stage. It is time to wake up from our slumber and stop hoping for a miracle. It is time to have a plan and a desired destination in mind. It is time to get behind the wheels and drive ourselves to our desired destinations.
