Good Morning Beautiful People All Over The World. It's a Beautiful Saturday Morning. It's time to wake up and face the day. Congratulations to everyone celebrating one event or another. Oops for those walking down the aisle today Happy New Beginning Of The Next Phase of your Life.
I woke up this morning with a strong question for us this Morning, in my heart. "when was the Last Time, you gave Thanks"? Hmm don't be in a haste to answer this question, take your time, take a deep breath and think really hard.
Sincerely, when was the last time, you woke up from your bed, look around and just say Thank You God? . When was the last time, you spent the whole day, smiling, humming a song in your heart, thanking God, for where you are coming from, where you are now, and where he is taking you tomorrow?.
You know I have come to find out, that as humans we are quick to see other peoples fault, what they got right, what they got wrong including seeing God's fault, but never seeing our faults. We have our reasons why we won't pray, thank him, go to church or religious gathering.
You asked him for a car, a house, a husband, a wife a child, promotion, to heal you of your sickness, and he has not answered ,you asked him, not to let your mum, dad, sister, brother, uncle, husband, wife to die and at the end the person died. No job, food in the house, lots of bills to pay, you pray and pray, cry and because no answer has come you conclude., God is wicked, there is No God. If there is God why am I going through all these? Why should I thank a God who had permitted all these things to befall me? You grumble and grumble, carrying so much bitterness and anger in your heart against God. Am not saying you have no right to do so., you are the one wearing the shoe, so you alone knows where it hurts. But please wait a minute! Can I ask you a question, what have you done for God? Yes you heard me right.
God said in :
( 1 Thessalonians 5 :18) :
" give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus".
(1 Thessalonians 5:18), New King James Version :
" in everything give thanks., for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you".
Please take note that the words Circumstances and Everything are underlined. God didn't say:
" Thank me only when I do all the things you want". No! He didn't say so. In "everything", this means that when you are sick, and you ask Him to heal you and He does not , you thank Him. Thank Him when you have no job, no wife, no husband, no child, when the car won't start, when you loose that dear love one, when you are getting a divorce, you thank Him, when the promotion you have been expecting is not forthcoming, you thank Him. It doesn't make sense at all, but that is what He said.
Finally, don't visit the malls and events places only. Sometimes, take your time, dress well as if you are attending a big party or occasion, go to the Mortuary, visit the cemetery, the Hospitals., you will see that the same air you are breathing freely, someone out there is using oxygen which they are paying for to breathe. You wake up in the morning you are still Alive, give thanks. Never mind the circumstances. You are a Survivor. Make up your mind, to give thanks, Always.
I leave you with this : before you point your fingers at God to blame him for not doing this or that, ask your self, what have I done for God today?.
