Wait A Minute Have You Taken Stock Today? Part 2

Today, I will share the story of Jane which inspired me when I read it. It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Jane a little girl of 6 years old had followed her parents to church. Some hours later, the family came back home and Jane's mum headed for the kitchen to prepare lunch. Dad sat in the living room to read some Christian journals. Meanwhile Jane disappeared into her room to do what she knew how to do best. When time for lunch came, Jane's parents got to the dinning table and waited for their daughter. Shortly after they called all over the house but there was no response. Wondering what could have happened,  they traced Jane to her room upstairs where they found her packing packing all her earthly belonging (clothes, shoes books, toys etc.) into the big family box. Unperturbed at their opening of the door, Jane kept ransacking the room for other items that must be packed into the box.

Jane's parents were quite puzzled and they queried Jane on the reason for this action. Jane we confident to reply,, "Mum and Dad, he you forgotten what the pastor said in church this morning?  He said that Jesus is coming to take us on a long journey, hence we should be ready. This is why immediately we came back from church, I felt I should pack my things. I might be eating when the saviour comes and then, He would meet me unprepared. If at the time He comes my luggage is not packed, I will be left behind. The reason I'm packing all these is so that when ever the Lord comes I will be ready to go with Him.
The question then is "when the Lord comes, will you be ready?"   If the trumpet sounds and you are unprepared, there will be no time to pack your life and Christian experiences again. Take stock now, for tomorrow might be too late. You may want to consider this Checklist :
